Never had any worries about leaving mine in the airport long term car park. Surrounded by security fences, cameras, 24/7 staff presence. Bit more secure than suburbia.
i wouldnt leave it at the airport, i didnt come with mine today because of that. Some minimum wage security guard isnt going to give a **** when your pride and joy is being driven through the gates.
My mate got his sons spaxo nicked at edinburgh airport by some illigal ravers running from the cop shop.
They wiggled and wiggled and wiggled not to pay .... My mate is vicious when he has been wronged and he turned up in edinburgh -50 miles away the same day he got the letter saying we aint paying and sat in their office telling folk who came in not to leave their cars as they might as well leave them on the street.
How ever hes also happy he borrowed the paxo and didnt take his own daily driver mint owned since new lotus carlton.....
Jetparks is better than long stay, you can't get your car in or out without a booking and a token. But general public can still wander around if they want, although you need to catch the special Jetparks bus as it's offsite.
I've left mine 3 times in air port car parks all the one with numberplate rec on the gates / barriers. never had a problem took normal precautions pedal lock etc
with cctv security / gate / pedal lock if you can't leave it there where can you leave it
I actually thought of that for the future. A customer of mine made a holiday out of it and he said it was fabulous.
He said it took about a week to get there
My mate left his car at one of those private airport car parks last year and some time after realised that some bastide had nicked his nearly new tyres off it and replaced them with the same make but worn to the bone !!
