I'm looking for a genuine Bosch maf. Looked on eBay but prices seem all over for a genuine one and part numbers seem to vary. Could anyone tell me the best place to buy genuine maf? Thanks

Have a read on rover Rons website, tuning-diesels.com, before buying Bosch as they are known to be unreliable.

You can buy the BMW one and just use the insert, as they are cheaper but are the genuine insert for the Freelander 1 and the Rover 75 M47 engine if you do make sure you clean your old MAF outer case by electrical contact cleaner or carb cleaner and dry of properly, also change the air filter at the same time.

We have had a long discussion about these MAF's and how we are being ripped off with the price as any genuine MAF will not come with out it's case inserts sold alone are either copies or the wrong ones.

Have a good read of the thread below and here are a couple of links to which to purchase Arctic2

full body MAF
BOSCH MAF Land Rover MG Rover 0928400520 MHK101130 - MAF Service GmbH - Luftmassenmesser-Shop

and the ebay one the same
Land Rover MHK101130 75 ZT MG Mass Air Flow Sensor Meter BOSCH 0928400520 MAF | eBay

BMW one which the insert is used from
MAF Air Mass Flow Meter Bosch BMW 0280217533 13621433566 - MAF Service GmbH - Luftmassenmesser-Shop

BMW M5 Z8 E39 E52 Mass Air Flow Airflow Meter Sensor BOSCH 0280217533 MAF | eBay

How to fit the MAF on a R75 should imagine the FL1 is the same I have a brand new one which I will get round to fitting some time soon.

PS Air filter bargain.

Or you can go to reidy remaps (good them think they changed name this year) for a mafless remap for the m47r or l series diesel engines.

Choose standard or additional power with the mafless map also. Cheaper than an oem maf

I've ran their mafless power map on my 75 diesel auto for 60k now, improved mpg and auto box doesn't jump about as much.
