Hello

I am looking to purchase some recovery equipment like sand matts, a high-lift jack, a recovery tow rope etc.
Do you know of any good place where such equipment is available, and especially in the South-East of the UK please ?

Yer could always try Paddock Spares - Land Rover, Range Rover Parts & Accessories - Discovery, Defender and Freelander

They do a fair bit and their prices are good - dunno what the quality is like as I got what I needed from the Sodbury sortout.

Have a look thru the Landy mags or ebay fer hi lift jacks. Always loads in/on both. Ebay's quite good for ropes too.

Sand mats/ladders & stuff - Army surplus supplies are often good for them.

Work out what you want the recovery stuff for before shelling out on a load of stuff that'll just weigh yer Landy down & never get used.

You could try MM 4X4 Got qutie a lot of stuff from them. Good prices, good delivery times and I've been playing on sites for around 3 & 1/2 years, still using the original equipment, and now doing some marshalling at these events, so quite a lot of recovery going on and the kit is lasting well. I need a Kinetic Rope now so will be visiting them soon!
