Hi all could anyone point me in the direction of somewhere to buy the mounting kits for side steps, I bought a pair off of eBay but it seems I need the kit that drops down from the outriggers. I have trawled the net but I can not come up with anything other than steps for sale etc.

If your steps are LR genuine parts then the mountings is part of the step kit and not sold as seperate part so unfortunatly the only way now is to get some s/h ones or make your own.

I don't think they are LR so I think it will have to be a custom mount, do you know what is best to do ie drill and mount to the outrigger or clamp on?.

I've got a set I'm not going to use. They don't fit the side steps I have because I bought wrong side steps.... How far apart are the holes on your side steps?

Post a pic of them if you can, both sides someone may be able to ID the supplier and the type of fixings required.

Here is the photo of the steps I'm sure they are just someone's own design but if any one has a kit I could at least have a photo of I can get some made up.

These are the same steps that I have, here is a pic which includes the fitting kit, I'm away at the local club trial tomorrow but can get a better pic and measurements if needed tomorrow night.

That would be fantastic if you could crazymac, from your photo it looks like they clamp onto the outrigger if you could supply a photo of the kit I can get some made although I'm wondering how strong the clamp system is so may adapt it a little to be bolted but time will tell. Thanks

That looks like what I need, and very similar to the template I created today. I'll see how mine turn out and If all else fails I'll order these. Thanks I've tried searching all different ways for these but hit a brick wall so thank you very much.

You're very welcome. I was searching for something else from Wizard's Ebay site (he's a good bloke and top seller) and bumped into these and remembered your post.
