Couple of these were used holding RRC seats in my 110. Had to take the pass seat out to get proper access to the battery box and had to grind one off as the bolts were seized. Could just use M8 nuts but there is very little access underneath to get a socket in.

Anyone know if you can buy these sort of things these off shelf? Dunno what they are called to do a google.
Wondered it if it was a LR part but can't find a part number :(

Drill 2 holes in a bit of plate the same size and centers. Then tack weld 2 nuts on. Or invest in a Nutsert Tool. One of them never goes wrong with LR's

Don't have any welding gear, can't weld! well technically never tried been looking at doing a welding course

I've got one of those nutsert tools, that might work

I might have to buy some square nuts and try holding with a pair of pliers from underneath. :frusty:

Or on flea bay defender bumper captive nut plate or there's other single m8 captive nuts

Forgive the ignorance and the hijack of thread but what is a nutsert? I have had a quick look on eBay and they look like rivet guns, how do they work?

It rivets and locks a threaded sleeve into a drilled hole.
