I know theres a couple on ebay now and again.. but how can I trust these are good...

Anyone know of anyone breaking a low mileage 2.5d BMW 6CYL engine?

Please help!

i have one just done an engine change on an "r" reg pump is still on old block you can have for £100 i am in the midlands if this helps

How good condition? Do u know what mileage was on it? Any leaks?Has it been opened up before (grooves cut into the security bolt)? Cheers

Yeah i looked on there, i like the sound of getting it reconditioned, cos you dont know howlong a second hand one will last.

My only problem now is i need someone to come and remove mine properly, anyone fancy earning some cash in essex area?

Last time i heard Diesel bob had stopped doing Land Rover pumps. I needed a Disco one doing a few years back, phoned him as he is near me, he said he had stopped doing them but put me on to a firm in Longridge who did. So a phone call to him maybe worthwhile.
