As per the title,
Unless I just chip in 47 'yeah - me too' comments on threads I can't advertise it on here now.
I'm not wanting to by-pass the rules so happy to take advice on where best to advertise it.
Thanks

Better get chipping, then! :)

I’d suggest LRO if you want serious buyers. If you don’t mind lots of chancers and silly offers, try eBay and FB.

Depends slightly on the age of the Defender and how fussy you are about the great unwashed on your doorstep.

I’ve just sold a long in the tooth Discovery 3, with 212k on the clock via Autotrader - it sold within 3 hours of going on there, selling to the second caller but you need to decide if you can cope with chancers who may well want to look at your security and then nick the thing later at their leisure... cynical but possibly true...

If it’s a nicer Defender, try Defender2.net - again, you have to have a post count to sell, but Martin will let you buy an advert if you don’t have the requisite participation on the site. Good folks on there and probably worth taking a look - I’d suggest you’re less likely to get the idiot questions - I used the forum (def2) to sell my father-in-law’s 2002 TD5 some time ago.

Stick it on ebay classified ads for a grossly over inflated price like most other Defenders at the moment...:D good luck with the sale.

Ebay.
Why would you think it's good to sell here? you've not been part of the community, if you did you'd realise we just offer half a curly whirly and some belly button fluff.
Maybe the curly wurly. I aint parting with good fluff for a Defective.

Thanks for the advice folks - I must confess I like the spare key or broken spoon idea.
Trouble is my conscience (I used to work for an insurance company so I know they are a bunch of 'repudiators' - I think that's the word).
And the thought of al that galvanising just melting away in a charred heap behind Cissbury Ring - waaaah!
I will see what I can do.
Hey - that's another post ticked off.

I don't know who Cissbury is, but if you want to post about her ring, I think you should go in AG.
