Was wondering. I was given a set of 8 spoke white wheelers with tyres in brand new condition. Were they in production in 1978 as I see a lot of series landrovers with them >n Malta

Hopefully the tyres are fairly new because if they of that age 1978 the rubber would be a concern.

Yes the tyres are new. What I wanted to know if the white wheelers were in production in 1978.

Do you have a picture. Series would only be standard cream. A grown up will come along soon.

No sorry. But they are all white with 8 spokes slightly wider than standard with mud terrain tyres on but not with the side thread as well. Seems period after market but not sure.
