allWhich are worse fronts or rears?
im thinking if the wheel brgs are all seized
yes i have a hand winch and an electric one, no eng. its being sripped for dipping and rebuild as EV.If drivable, could drive in reverse to break the rust seal.
Alternatively does the trailer have winch unit.
DONE that to rear whlsDoes it still have the propshaft? If so you need to lift both fronts or both rears to get them to turn or you're fighting the 4WD.
With both fronts or rears in the air the diff will let them turn but can't with only one wheel lifted
Edit The problem is probably the rear shoes rusted on so a few knocks with a hammer required.
no eng pwr 2day we tried whl skids, no go rubbish kit+1 its the rear shoes seized.
If its not, then the IRD must be and difficult to know how that could happen without shattering its case as it would have happened when moving.... and would then have to be lifted and dropped where ever it is now.
If the fronts moved a little when lifted, but won't turn any more than (say) 1/16th of a turn, then it is rear brakes. Confirmed by lifting the rear - one or (probably both) won't turn at all.
The props will need to be left on, to help free the rear brakes under engine power (if it starts).
Do the fronts rotate a little (in neutral) but the rears not at all?no eng pwr 2day we tried whl skids, no go rubbish kit
WAIT WOT!!!!!yes i have a hand winch and an electric one, no eng. its being sripped for dipping and rebuild as EV.
You need to do it with the fronts too if it has a propDONE that to rear whls
