This depends on what you are wanting.....
You can physically fit quite wide tyres, but they would be outside the tyre makers rim guidelines.
You can also fit shorter wider tyres within spec. e.g. a 205 x 16 is a tyre that has also been standard fitment on Land Rovers, not as tall as a 7.50 x 16 but slightly wider and would also fit a standard Series rim.
