Ok I'm off to buy a wheelbrace for the Disco soon.. a spider one.. what sizes will it need to have on it for doing both alloy AND steel wheels..?
They must be available, my local tyre centre uses them.. so are the nuts for alloy wheels the same size as the ones for steel wheels then..?I'm sure they are 27mm, I've never seen a spider one with that size though. I got mine from here. Land Rover Defender 27mm Wheel Brace NTC7829R | eBay

Ah yes that would be good.. future proof.. cheers..!Yes they do, I've recently had new tyres fitted and not an air gun in sight.
After seeing how quick the nuts can be spun off I thought I must get one.
I purchased a Seeley item via eBay, it has the option on one of the arms of fitting your own 1/2 inch socket so I purchased a nice 27mm again from a supplier on eBay, I'll only use it once a year maybe so will last a lifetime
Er.. skim reading were we..?Breaker bar and 27 mm socket
