Do spacers have a definite positive effect on the driving experience? I know they look good but I'd like to know people's opinions and reasons for fitting them before considering them myself...
Bearmach (H&R) are the best, got them fitted to mine.![]()
How long have you had yours fitted?
Any issues with bearings? I was speaking to a garage today who is against them as they make the bearings wear out faster and out abnormal loads on them. Referring to Defender & Disco as they haven't had a Freelander with spacers.
They are a Land Rover specialist.
Had them fitted 2 years, no probs so far (touch wood).......thinking about getting modulars, so won't need spacers. So might be for sale soon.![]()
I contacted performance alloys dot com over the weekend enquiring about 30mm H&R spacers and this was the replyThe Bearmach ones are made by H&R, you're paying for the H&R name and TUV approval,
