Hi guys
Sorry there is no "introduce yourself" yet. I am on LR4x4 and LRO but I have had no joy with my enquiries
I have just become the owner of a 12 plate D4. I had a series 3 for 15 years. I built it from the ground up starting with a heavy duty military chassis, any way she has gone now. I am getting too old and miserable to spend the time underneath to keep her going. I used to use her on a shooting estate taking my dogs and several others around the grounds picking up after several well heeled chaps had done the business with their purdeys and the like. I would like to do the same with the new lady. There will be places where the going will get somewhat challenging so I would like to get a second set of wheels with something chunky on that I can put on for just such days so that it,or I, don't look a complete t@*t when the going gets sloppy.
My question is how?? are there any wheels out there that will fit a D4 and will take something like a chunky khumo. I had these on the old girl and they never let me down. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Phil
