lost a rear cylinder, dot 4 all over the back of the wheel.

got a couple of fronts in the box but no rears, iirc the bore is bigger on the front cylinders. can they be used on the rear?

NO, it would upset the brake balance.

Luckily I only have the front near side working so it’s not a problem for me.
Try hammering the tube to the back ones flat. It can save a fortune in fluid.

A freind used to work in a bus garage, one day a double decker came in with a pair of mole-grips on one of the rear brake flexies completly rusted together. Must have been on for years.

When I got my x mil 109 it had the same thing on one of the front hoses, pulled a bit....
