FYI, the steering arms on each wheel will point towards the centre of the rear diff if my memory serves me correctly.

That's what I read on the web, so I guess it's true :D

My last question... in the photo shown above (shown again here), can someone tell me if the right hole is lined up with the right part to show that the PAS box is in the correct position for going straight ahead (i.e. it's centered properly)?

yes,lined up correctly ,ive allways thought it was it was one of the most ingenious parts of your steering,would you having read about it think 90 and 110 are same angle

So, the one last thing to address is the other figures... the caster and camber are off (see page 1 of the thread), and the rear axle is out of alignment.

What would you suggest given the measurements on page 1? Leave it all alone? Shim the trailing arm bush? Adjust something else?
 
you wont find many lrs and cars for that matter that arent raced, perfect ,does it wear tyres not self centre when cornering ,wander, even worn springs will effect castor,if seems okay leave it
 
i guess i'll know eventually... only driven it 4 or 5 miles since all the adjustments.

the tyre place reckoned it was all fine and could be left alone. They said I could shim the rear axle on the passenger side by a few mm if I wanted to, but it wasn't that important.

I think i'll leave it for now! :D

Don't go looking for problems mate, if it ain't broke don't fix it :)

I doubt there is a disco alive that has all the geometry figures spot on, just not possible.

Get some miles on her and check the steering feel and tyre wear as suggested, tyres are the weakest point and a good indicator of problems.
