IT'S NOT 'KIN PROPER CHEQUER PLATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAGH DON'T LET MATTO SEE THIS HE'LL HAVE A doodab

it's french so they have neutral plate.the didn't want to upset the cheques or poles or anybody else

No front bumber? From the front the bulk head looks too far back or has the vodka just kicked in? My eyes are drawn too the "go faster" strips.

No back doors? Which would be strange for a french one as I believe they genarally prefer the back door.

My opinion . The bar in the front seems to be homemade, and does not fit in.
Off with it.

The Norseman

Yeah, I reckon it's the homemady bar & bumper, though the tinfoil & masking tape down the sides don't help much neither...............Slob, do you go out looking for plain wrong, French Landies, photograph them then take the pics home to ridicule at your leisure? See, see, that's what happens when they let you out!

Does show how little you need to do to mess up a classic look though, don't it?

nah dude i just like seeing what response i get cos i'm doing a uni degree in slobology and i need to gather information on landrover owners and this seems the best way to do it. also i wouldn't have know wheresdildo747 exsisted and therfore i wouldn't have known it was possible to have a negative i.q .
the piccy in question came from e bay, le dude reckons its been rebuilt so he must have put the old go faster stripes on and that wonderful front contraption, even looking beyond them it just don't look right..my son reckon the roof maybe..

Hmmm, reckon that's just the snow, obscuring the Series roof re-inforcing doodads & making it look like a later Defender roof. Re-built? Re-built by the French? Hmm, I'm surprised they hit the other end of the tunnel to be honest! Yer right tho' it just don't look right! Hey, you bought a Jag' of one o' them dude, fancy an' odd looking Landy too?

i've got an odd looking one... the front swivels was upside down when i got it.one front shaft was 10 spline the other was 24 or however many they are. and the brakes ..well lets say they where something different. but it interesting trying to put it all back together. i just hope i get the steering wheel on the same side as the pedals.. it reminds me of that jhonny cash song' one piece at a time'

The centre steering Landy is like the holy grail ..............if it ended up there you could kinda reach it from both sides..............or get that mechanic on hers hands 'N' knees (again) to respond to your every whim...........? Jest a thought!

i would have thought the steering landy was the holy grail or is it just series ones that operate on drive-by wishful thinking?

Hey I'm just a Landy virgin, but why has a series got a turbo TD whatever inlet thing in the side wingy type bit. and why are the front wheeels to far forward.

right ..its got no bumper as such, it ain't got no sills it looks like it's being held up by blocks under the chassis and the front wheels look to far forward..oh and that roof just isn't right either...we should have a 'spot the mistakes' competition.
and grunt i think thats the heater intake on the side

**** I missed a whole page when I posted that last postie type thing. Not that I missed a lot.
