Had my renewal come through a while ago for £357 from More th>n.
That became a challenge for me to find cheaper (as it always does), so I went on to the money saving expert site and did the recommends on there.
I managed to find a lot cheaper policies (like for like), but one of them quoting was More th>n for £218.
Thats nearly £140 cheaper..!!
And the same bloody company..!!
Do they think I am stupid or something..?
Why the hell do they do that. It must p1ss off a lot of people who will not use them again..
Also, on the new quote it gave me a free phone number to call, but on my original renewal quote it was a number I had to pay for
Anyway, I phoned them up on the free phone and spoke to Mohammed who I could not understand very well and then put me on hold for about 5 mins, so I put the phone down and called the other number where I spoke to someone who spoke my language very well and didn't put me on hold..
He couldn't understand why I was able to get a cheaper quote online with the same company, but said he could not give any info about the new quote..
I get really p1ssed off with these companies.. I have been driving since 1986 and have never had a claim, but I can only use 9 years no claims.
Why can't they go back to the loyalty thing where it doesnt go up much if you stay loyal to them. They all seem to stick about £100 (at least) onto the renewal hoping I become a moron as I get older..
Cheapest quote I found was £200 in the end..
