discool Well-Known Member May 3, 2017 #2 Looks like the black connector is still attached to part of an oil pressure switch.
P pete1987RRC Well-Known Member May 3, 2017 #3 IDE go oil pressure switch too, connect it to earth and see if the light comes on.
Steviecops Active Member Full Member May 3, 2017 #4 Ok, thanks, will do. If it's oil pressure switch, where is it located so I can connect it up again?
neilly Well-Known Member May 3, 2017 #5 On the oil filter housing, just above and to the front of the filter. Cheers
neilly Well-Known Member May 3, 2017 #6 If it is not connected the idiot light onthe dash should not be lighting up when ignition is on. Cheers

mr glee Active Member May 4, 2017 #8 Looking at your photo the white bit is part of the switch which has brokern off done mine in changing the oil cooler lines as i remember there was a spring in there .so you're going to need a new one only about £5 and a quick easy job.
