Any body know what this nose is, it was making it last week so I took it to the garage and changed the belt and tentioners etc and it was fine for a few days and now it's making a different nose but I've no idea what it is.

Taking a punt, is it the steering pump, because perhaps the filter screen is blocked or restricted and the pump is being starved of fluid ?

Squirt water on the belts... what happens to the noise?

my guess is the swirl flaps in the inlet manifold mjne was the same i needed a new inlet manifold

Sounds like the pulley to me, take the wheel arch liner off and look at it from that view, with wheel turned out, or even removed with axle stand in place,

I've dropped it off at the garage this afternoon, hope it's an easy fix.

Update if any ones interested.

New Power steering pump fitted the guys thought it was this, no no difference so it's been taken back off.
Altinator is now off and is going to be fitted to the test bench and see if it's that.
