The Disco 1 windscreen has four mouldings which are slotted onto the glass edge before the glass is fitted to the car. The two uprights (A-pillar) have a double sided taped backing to help keep it in place.
Despite the rubber appearance, the mouldings are actually metal trims, coated with a PUR compound. If you have one curling in the wrong direction, you'll have a bit of a job trying to curl it back without kinking the metal, and do it all successfully with the screen in situ.
