As the title says really...

WD40, plus gas, GT85, KY jelly?

just wondering what other thoughs were on which one was best, i need to do some work on my chassis so was gonna lube it all up before hand...

have never found any of them very effective so tend to go directly to the grinder and new nut/bolts option

wd40 hammer and cut knuckles and then probly, nut splitter or drill or jus use the grinder depends on wt job

plus gas is the best penetrant
WD40 is the best water displacer
GT85 is the best all rounder (and smells nicest)

used to use wd and pro gas but i stick with duck oil now, damn site better than the others but none of it penetrates like the makers claim, the lying gits:mad:

i've used clipeeze(summat like that),it's an oil for servicing scaffold fittings, worked pretty well for me.

Plusgas is quite good, especialy if you can leave it (and replenish it!) over a couple of days. Best way i've found of loosening a bolt is to try and tighten it very slightly first then loosen it, works a treat!

o and if its a not a bolt thats touching aluminum then you can allways tighten them till they sheer then punch them out or it yu cant punch it out stra8 away put the blowtorch on it but wear good gloves at the metal will be bloody hot wen u punch it

WD40 dissolves grease, GT85 does not. WD40 for displacing water but beware, it will (over time) dissolve grease, possibly where you don't want it to....

I am with SEAN, go for the grinder - job always looks like its been done right with shiny new bolts/nuts - and use copperslip for next time then you will be able to use the spanners to get it off.
