At the risk of being flamed by lots of opinion......
I have my first Range Rover and went BIG :) the 4.4V8 and I love it to bits. The loud peddle puts a huge smile on my face.

Now the sensible side has to kick in - it is going to have LPG fitted and I have spent a long time researching the different types (PRINS seems the best so far) so I have two questions for those far more knowledgeable than me.

a) Whats the best LPG system for the 4.4V8 '03 vogue
b) Any recommendations for installers in West Sussex?

as regardes the latter jag and bmw engined range rover plenty out there wqill convert with substandard system causeing engine lights and poor running not many will do a correct job me personaly if you can't aford to run it do buy it
 
always been wary about lpg,but guy i work with said his ran fine on his 3.5 v8 90.i then bought a rr classic 3.9 with lpg,runs fine on petrol but sluggish on gas.my mechanic did his nut when he saw id bought an lpg conversion he reckons gas burns at higher temperature than petrol,and therefore needs permanantly cooling or at worst burns engine out!! my advice is think long and hard about getting lpg.
 
LPG is fine for a healthy engine with proper maintenance and good quality oil and correct coolant.

The coolant is particularly important with the Rover V8's to prevent rusting of the liners within the block.

Got a Lovato system on this one, seems to be alright, not really had much of a run out of it yet (1st auto box oil cooler went, and now she has a nice little backfiring problem on gas - and wont run on petrol without MAF unplugged - borrowing one off someone this week to test if it is that), although the system has been fitted for 200,000 of its 245,000 mile life.

Last disco had a BRC system which was faultless, apart from the fitter had wired it through the immobliser, so when it demanded more power it tripped the immobliser - got it bypassed and it was fine.
 
We have a Zavoli Multipoint system, works a treat, and after a tune-up last week, we got 165 miles out of 39 litres of gas on mainly 50-65mph running up and down the road works on the M1 to Luton and back, that's 19mpg :D

165.1 miles and 39.13 litres of gas. Filled up at the same pump to try and keep it accurate.

On the second refill now and going to check what the consumption is like, just to confirm the good figures.

The tune-up was purely software, upgrades to the operating parameter software and a 're-calibration' of the gas system to make it work better, which it certainly did.

The gas guy I used is in Kent, details available by PM if requested. He did the original installation in 2005, before we bought the vehicle.

on old spec motors they will run fine but on the never injection cars the ecu will not take to being fiddled with so need a seperate ecu to run the gas been out to plenty which only run fixed map gas systems not generic systems thus poor running flat spots and lean running not many good gas kits on the market and most people i advise not to gas the latter gas in the case of the jasg engine range rovers you need to have new valve seats fitted before the gas conversion how many have had this done? as i have said not work a 5K engine rebuild for a crap conversion!!!

You could try Arun Autogas in Littlehampton.

I wouldn't go so far as to recommend them but they did my brother's 3.9 Disco 100k miles ago and it still works fine!
