I'm puzzled by a beeping that my ) 05 TD4 does occasionally.

Sometimes when i stop, or sometimes when I get into the car the light under the speedo flashes and beeps. The first time it happened i had a trailer on but there is no aparent (to me ) cause.

Any suggestions?

its telling you the battery in your fob needs replacing

I was so tempted to say, "it's telling you to read the manual," but I am far to polite snd civilised to say such a thing!

When we got our first Freelander it was our first brand new car ever and as a result I reac the manual back to front over and over again. There were passages I could quote verbatim!
