I have a 52 plate Discovery TD2 with 112k on the clock, with 10 months MOT in good condition. The problem being is that the car has a cracked head. I am wondering if I sold it as is how much I would get for it realistically as it stands and where the best place is to advertise it.

Well, that sounds lke a pile of crap, really, and I assume also that you will be trying to sell it in Kernow, where people hate to spend money at any time, let alone just before Xmas!
I don't think its that smart to post this straightaway, peeps on here are enthusiasts, not valuers, and rightly get upset with people that pop up to get their moter valued and then never take any interest again. You don't make it easy either, more info and piccies of the motor, and more info about yourself, especially more exact location, would help.
However, as you are obviously clueless, I will make a suggestion. Try West Briton classifieds. Get a paper, look at similar vehicles prices, knock off substantial amount for cracked head, at least a grand I would say. Then place your own ad and see how you go
