not as of yet, just wondered what it was worth, do the 4.0l have egr's because mine seems to one on each side coming from 2 exhaust manifolds on each side of the 4 that are on each side, just seemed abit weird to me and square shaped long rails for the fuel injection

theres been one on the local auto trader from a p38 started at around £600 and now down to about £395 and still unsold if thats any help

to be honest mate i have no idea, it was given to me in return for some work for a friend, it was apparently off of a disco 2, and apparently ran fine, no ancilerarys apart fron starter motor, just has block, heads, injectors, fuel rails and plugs but its open to you giving a good offer

If its what I think it is my old engine had this it's Secondary Air Injection not EGR, it pumps additional clean air in during cold starts to get the system burning cleaner till it warms up, there is a fairly large external pump that pushes the air in normally bolted to the bulkhead. It can be done away with by simply blanking off the holes.

disco v8 cars with hostory aren't selling for much more than that.. seems peeps are scared of burning fuel for some reason..

Mogwyth i see what your saying but the feed to the cylinder bit on the top on each bank comes from two of the exhaust manifolds not the inlet manifold, which makes me think egr, but im probably wrong lol

The air is fed into the exhaust manifold and it is here the surplus fuel is burnt of not in the cylinder.

Should look like this:
