Anyone else had problems renewing their Landrover insurance?
Like for instance, coming up on the search as a Pickup when it is a Station wagon.
Were all SWs Counties? Mine is a bit lacking in luxuries.
My 110 is on the V5 as a 110 SW TDI. Which makes sense to anyone with a bit of real world noddle.
I was asked if SW means short wheel base....

Thank goodness it is only once a year!

Peter james for my two a 1993 90 200 and a 1959 s2 fitted with tdi engine no issues and 270 full comp for the pair of them with european breakdown cover.

mines a 4wd utility on the v5c.

it started life as a van

its now a pick up .

insurance seem convinced it is a stationwagon....

makes for fun conversations.

Have you tried us for insurance yet? If not give me a shout and I can arrange for our quotes team to give you a call.

Kind Regards
Jamie

My 300tdi 110 station wagon was not a county. Loved it. I wish I'd kept it
So they do exist!
A county SW is the same except for it has stripes and carpet? and nicer seats, I guess.
None of which seemed to convince LV when I spoke to them!

You dont want to be insuring with that mob anyway.

Avoid the price comparison sites.

Avoid markerstudy underwritten policies ( adrian flux love these guys but dont always use em)!

Speak with heritage 4x4 they do good policys and under stand typical 4x4 add ons and greenlaning.

County is just a trim pack. Was also available on hardtop and pickup body styles, as well as the station wagon body style. Most County-trimmed vehicles were station wagons though, for obvious reasons.

County stripes, carpets, seats etc, we're all parts of the trim package at various points over the years.
