I wanted to paint it Nato green to go with the 109 ....but she wasn't wearing it lol

just leave it parked under a tree fer 12 months itll go green by itself

yer missus will soon get sick of cleaning it and youll end up with a brush in one hand and a gallon of nato green in the other :D:D:D

To be honest the "modern" caravan we have just sold so we can buy this one was pretty green already :D:D:D
So I don't see the problem lol .

As for the Mrs having a Landrover ...well she's just as happy driving the FFR ...
BUT really prefers the TDi power and LT77 in her 2A ....especially as it'll outrun her Berlingo van uphill lol

Bought mine a few months ago.
Named her "Daisy May"
Cleaned the **** out of it.
Painted the inside with black hammerite.
Painted the outside NATO green.
Fitted 285/17r16 tyres on modular rims.
Fitted waterproof seat covers.
New battery.
New alternator.
Dog guard.
Sock monkey. (wife made it - don't ask)
Got 2" lift shackles but not fitted yet.
Loads of relaxed bits - fuel cap, locking hasp, wiper blades, etc
Removed the cassette radio - it was **** and I couldn't hear it anyway.
Bought a small winch (3500lb) not fitted yet.

Now waiting for the spring so I can sort more out

Oh yeah, I've used it to take the dogs out loads without having to worry about getting the back messy.

Absolutely love it. Had a series 2A years ago and sold it. Really glad to be back in the Landrover world. With some time and effort I'll get the old girl straight.
