I'm now looking to put new rubber on all round. I have done a search but not had much luck on the subject.

I'm after a set that are going to last and not wear out after 5 mins and be able to go off road, well around a building site. I have 18" rims. I've been looking at Goodyear Wranglers and Pirelli scorpion ATR's but can't find out how long they may last or anything.

Anybody have any views or recommendations??

No, you're correct...the forum really does need to get its **** together and post some threads about tyres.

General Grabber AT2's if you can get them or BFG AT's. Both are fantastic tyres & give great mileage rates.

PMSL, I'm so ****ed off at my kids this evening I thought nah best not take it out on a noob:doh:

Remember the speed rating for the V8 tyres is H and a few AT style of tyre have a lower speed rating so if you fit these you may wish to advise your insurance company of fitting this tyre. but then you may not. :)

I'm running on Goodyear GTs they are very sticky but don't last long my fronts were replaced at 24000 miles.

I think the Discover ST tyre looks ok if I was replacing all four, but I will have to stay with Goodyear Wranglers as they are similar to the GTs which are not made anymore.

Do you mean 24k miles or 2400 miles, because 24k is loads of miles which is what i'm after!!

I have read that the Goodyears are a popular choice and a good all round tyre.

If you use BFG's or General AT²'s you are likely to get 50,000mls plus on a set of tyres.

had scorpions on the p38 and wouldnt use them again, good grip and not bad while laning but wore very quickly.
