I was told that the LPG unit needed a separate service .At the time may be 2-3 years back that was £200 a year..
Diesel is more reliableSo MrGorsky........does a lpg engine cost more to maintain then a petrol or diesel?
Take it from your comment you have a range rover running on lpg yes? Would you be as kind to explain the pros and cons of having a lpg ran landy please.
Much appreciated Midge.
You have obviously never driven a tractor. My P38 diesel engine is inaudible inside the car unless accelerating hard, with my tractor I needed ear defendersDiesel is more reliable but like driving a tractor.
I knew nothing about LPG before getting mine & must say it's been faultless. Filter changes every year is all that mine has needed. I do weekly trips from Sheffield to London (320 miles) & can do this on a full tank costing £55 at the moment. There's a lot of misinformation about LPG much to the benefit of peeps who run on it.
