not a fan myself

but each to their own......some like real food others like McDonald's

personally i like realfood and real landies

Hmm, not sure myself, I'd prefer it lifted on huuuuuuuuuge mud tyres WITHOUT the wind deflectors and with more spotlights.
My opinion remains unchanged on ALL 4x4s, only have a 4x4 for offroad or going round tracks. Not for the sake of being big. That's why my D1 is modded for going offroad.
I'd like to see it on a green lane though :D.

But what do I know!

are those front tinted windows street legal sir.... can you just step out of the car for a quick body search and why have you 3 romanian ladies in the back?

looks nice mate and if your not going use it much for offroading all the better, (which looking at your motor your more interested in it looking good than climbing a mountain in it), unless you keep a set of mud terrains on steel rims for playing.

Ive been down both roads and have found you can either look cool or be practical, it really depends on what suits your lifesyle.

As the song goes -Its your parogotive, you can do what you want to do....

i must say i thought youd get more **** off the die hard "rusty landy with a dead sheep in the back" brigade mind.

By the way can you tick me an eighth till i get my wages?

do like that, but have never seen the point of a 4x4 that wasnt going to go offroad

I used to think the same until i seen someone in a porshe 1 day and found myself saying "whats the point buying a fast car that can do nearly 200MPH and only do 60 in it" then realised i have an expedion capable vehicle but mainly use it for the mrs shopping run and not in fact crossing continents of inhospitable land.

What we have to remember is some people just get things because they like em, no other reason, and the disco is soooo much more of a vehicle not just an offroad workhorse, we bought ours initially because i needed more seats for my ever increasing tribe (the beemer was too small and it was a 7 seat disco or a people carrier - and i dont know many people carriers that have a V8)

The off roading thing has kinda develpoped SINCE having it and now i love it, i would say it doesnt look very practical for offroading but you know what you will be using it for, not us.

OK Discodavy has the above answered your question?

You are a very brave man to ask this forum our opinion on your vehicle. You have certainly got lots of opinions but I'd like to know whether any of them fit your view of your vehicle. I'm not offering my own opinion as Landys are very personal but don't leave us in the dark on the views you have had.

Enjoy your vehicle.

Kind Regards

I've had a range rover classic and 2 discos and i kept them totally standard, because they are practical and look good as they are. If you want the best on/off road car gat a disco, if you want a long distance practical family car get a rangie and if you want the best way of getting from A to B fast and in comfort get a Jaguar XJR!!!:smokin:

good to take the kids to schools i suppose...
let's hope there's enough parking though, don't want to go over a kerb on that. lol
