personally, I would contact the Landrover press office, and tell them that due to the poor service from the dealer ( be sure to name them) you are off to buy a landcruiser, after writing an article for the motoring press about customer service, unless they can intervene, and see what happens.
With the amount of stock LHD defenders that head for the docks, I reckon the will sort some thing with a suitable discount for the poor service
