Hello everypeeps:).

:confused:I am looking for all terrain Tyres and would like to know which you favour and why....have been doing small amounts of field work at festivals on standard road tyres and have managed perfectly well but have nearly come unstuck, so thought Trac edge all terrains would be fine but have no experience of the brands, wet tarmac ability (if any) and life span.
The veehickle is a rr classsic and has T/C......any comments...sensible or otherwise greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Nick.

A lot on here use BFG AT's, they give massive mileage's and decent grip in all but the muddiest conditions ... another is the General Grabber AT2, very similar tread pattern to BFG's but use a slightly softer rubber compound so slightly less mileage BUT they are considerably cheaper.

Personally I've got grabber's and they give good road grip/handling in the dry and wet, not too much road noise and I've not come undone yet whilst driving on rough track's, fields and sand.

GENERAL TYRES / 4X4 / GENERAL GRABBER AT2 AT 2 - 235/70R16 106T OWL TL :: £77.50 :: 4x4 Tyres - SUV Tyres - All Terrain Tyres - Off Road Tyres :: R16" - 235/70/16, 235/70 R 16 ::

Thanks for that....i shall go investigate.

Cheers, Nick.

Bridgestone Dueller AT D694 - rapidly becoming a favourite in SA. Tar:Offroad bias is 70:30

When I replace by BFG AT's in a couple of months, I will get me some of these :)

BFG AT's ... cost effective, especially if you sell them on at 25000 miles .. mine still had more than 8mm of tread and sold for £250 on ebay ... ;)
