Hi im going to look for a 1997 range rover 4.6 HSE on LPG with 94000.
I just was wandering what to look for, And what way dos LPG work is it on all the time or at certain speeds.
Cheers allan

OK and do you just drive on lpg at any speed.
Do you know of any bad points to look for.
ive had a few 4x4s in the past and am prety handy around a car.
cheers allan

Electrics, Electrics, Electrics ..... if there are ANY FAULTS showing on the dash display then make a note of them & post them on here & we will be able to advise you on your next course of action

yes just runs at any speed on lpg,[till it runs out] go over it like you would go over any car, then go over again. water problems are big problem, make sure it not just got water in, it must have antifreeze in it..

Will do, thanks mate
Im swaping for a van i have. I only do 200mile a week so hope not to bad to run.

200 miles a week even in an LPG'd RR can be costly, especially when you factor in the extra maintenance costs of your average P38.
Not trying to put you off becoz when they run smooth they are lovely motors. But if your van is fairly modern and returning good mpg you will notice a big difference.

If i was buying another one i'd give it a check, best places to look are between and front and rear number plates lol and don't be shock if something you checked has stopped working by the time you get it home!!

Thats exactly right above.:D

I bought mine as it had no problems and everything worked

But that was 2 months ago,a lifetime in p38 ownership it seems !!

I have changed a c/locking motor lately though
