I've got both and the DSE's not as bad as the worst knockers of it make out but it just isn't as refined as the petrols and just not brisk enough. I would need the rest of the vehicle to be exceptionally special to consider another. I'm not keen on the 3.0 td BMW sourced engine either I don't think they were up to snuff for a car as high end as a RR until the TDV6 and TDV8 arrived.

Mine is ECU chipped and can be very brisk if needed. But if i wanted a V8 noise and to drive around like a boy racer would just get the manual 928 i have in the garage going and use that.

Only Porche I've ever fancied is the 928. Spotting a connection here some where ;) Oddly I always swore I'd never go the V8 route with the Jags as the I6 is stonkingly good, but I have been impressed with the one n the x350, quiet, refined and pulls like a train.
