i have a p reg disco 2.5td mint running gear chassis and lump..... body is :fighting: shot but repairable with skill and use with a welder and am ship at welding ... so i have 4 choices scrap it, sell it as project, fix it, play toy ....
Just take your time and weld it up, make sure that all metal to be welded is spotlessly clean, dont have your welder turned up to high, do some trial welding on some scrap so you get the feel, it all fit together like a puzzle.
am in wigan dr ..... Ive tried the welding thing i can weld the 1.6mm fine nice bead and good penitration but on the car its poop and needs welding in places i cant get the grinder in to clean the steel up ... and whats a Blitz Sahara. when its at home :lol:
Get a drill attacment for the hard to reach places.
Or weld the places near it best u can. Then bridge across missing the bit u cant grind but its rust treated then welded over.
