well thanks people....not sure what it was other than fault with ABS wiring..this morning i disconected all sensors...made no difference....reconnected and had a coffee....now all is fine...so thank you for all insight and will no doubt talk soon

did u get the 3 amigos with sensors disconnected? ...cos if you didnt IMO your ABS ECU is fubar'd an it is making you trouble ...and if you ride it with all the sensors disconnected you loose the speedometer reading too
