stopped to look at an N reg disco 300 tdi xs today.. :D

looked ok for £895, could of got him down a touch, mot til dec...:eek:

opened bonnet and where the jack should be was a metal cylinder 4" diameter maybe 6" tall.. two high pressure lines attached to the bottom of it...:confused:

one went into the side of the head.. a fitting had been drilled into it between the rear 2 injectors.. the other went to the oil pressure switch on top of the oil filter.. the fitting had been extended with a T piece so the oil pressure switch ws still in situ..:confused::confused::confused:

asked the guy what it was and he has no idea?:scratching_chin:

anyone else kno what it was, is or could be?:confused:

have heard of something like this for performance but cant rember much about it , some kind of gas injected and set off by high oil pressure I think

might be different as I cant rember much about it

The metal cylinder had a.bolt head on top in the middle.. looked like the top came off.... If need be... I thought secondary oil filter?
