Nanocom in the boot, along with the spare wheel. But that's it.
What can possibly go wrong with these fine cars?

I have an other p38 on the drive that I keep takeing bits off,
If I was going on a long trip I think I would have to tow it with me on the chance I will need something ��

Netbook with Rave and EAS software, OBDII reader, Datatek's EAS cable. A toolkit + a selection of jubilee clips - that's it - no spares.

I would of thought the most useful spare is a belt as if this brakes no battery charge no power steering no cooling , belts just snap you can take a prop off water pumps wheel bearings glow plugs give you warnings fuses can be swapped eas can get you safe on the bump stops but no belt your goosed!

Headlining kit
side lights
engine and gearbox oil
wipers.
So they have not been wasted

I keep nothing in the car but a big and a small shifter, I never venture far from home.
At home I have a set of spark plugs, a fan belt, fuel filter, bulbs and fuses, a battery and air bag

Yeah but my car is a Thor, you're not going to replace a serpentine belt at the roadside - nor is one likely to snap! In either case it's a relay job if it does.

There was an interesting trailer on ebay last week. It was the back end of a Mini. It had a gas barbeque (prefer charcoal myself) a fridge and enough space to load some spares. Would look good behind a Range Rover. People following would think you were towing your spare car (and would understand because you have a Range Rover! Also you could have a barbeque whilst waiting for the AA to arrive!!!

Thor serp belt isnt that bad a job, aslong as you carry a long 15mm spanner you can change the belt in 10 mins

Sure, it was one of the first jobs i did on mine. Easy to do & no need to remove fan. Helps to carry a diagram of the belt route just in case. Tip though, when fitting new belt fit it around tensioner & leave off the alternator pulley - it's easier to pull the belt over the alt pulley whilst pulling right on the tensioner.
15mm is not very long. Don't think that'll do it.

Its all well and good,but if you do repairs like me and your on say holiday away from home i would rather do a quick fix like a belt , than have it taken home for me to do or have it taken to a garage I'm unfamiliar with.
wait minimum of an hour (most cases ) for the inconvenience
And have used one of what I call a non emergency use of one of my limited recovery call outs , but that's just me

I take it you love cruise control and don't intend living without it!
It wasn't working so I replaced the lot. Then still didn't work so I left it. Then one day it suddenly started to work. Always loved cruise.
Terrible at low speeds though. Set it at 30 and it goes up to 32 cuts the throttle and comes back in at 28
