It's 30ma on the P38, I would expect the L322 to be around the same figure. the L322 takes a very long time to shut down to sleep mode. I think eightinavee is the man that knowsI've just done a battery drain test with my multimeter with all off I'm reading about 0.08 amps ( 80 milliamps I guess) seems a bit high to me but does anyone know what it really should be?
Depends on the size & state of the battery, 2 to 3 weeks at 30ma so could be around a weekI tested it 30 mins after locking it, as far as I'm aware it's all off after 16 mins. At that sort of drain how long would it take to go flat?
Better to find out what is causing the excessive drain first, I use a 12 watt solar panel when I have to leave the P38 for an extended period, 5 watt would do the job.I see, it's not even lasting a week but as they also wake up every 6 hours and do there thing (which I understand can draw 0.5 amps for 16 mins ) then that would be about right? I'm thinking bout getting a solar panel. Anyone got one fitted ?
Direct to the battery, on mine the cig lighter is not live with the ignition off. I've actually fitted a live socket in the boot so I can leave the solar panel on the rear parcel shelf.Ok, I leave mine for 4 days every week as I work away from home, are they ok plugged into to cigar lighter? Or best connected to the battery? Knowing how tempremental the l322s electronics are?
If it's always live it should be OK.There is a perminant socket in the cubby box on l322 , do you think it would be ok in there?
+1 or final stage resistor.Headlight wiper jammed ?
