Im buying a Disco 300 tdi, P reg, and inside on the windscreen pillar drivers side is a hole in the plastic cover. So if im sitting inside the car i can see the hole on my right, next to windscreen. There isnt one on the passenger side, only drivers side. Its round with 4 smaller holes, and looks like it had a small speaker in it, thats the rough size and shape. There is a plug with 2 wires connected which looks factory fit to be honest, inside the hole which was obviously connected to whatever was in the hole.
Does anyone know what the holes for, is it something that was standard fit???

Ive been nosing on autotrader and it looks like there is an item in these pillars on some of the later models, but it looks square.
Any ideas???

yes sounds like wiring for a hands free kit. are there any screw holes on the dash or around the instrument panel?

To be honest i didnt notice any, but maybe i didnt look THAT clsoe. Ive got a handsfree kit to go in it anyway, a bluetooth one so i may be able to make use of the wires or cover up the hole. Im a bit picky though with things like that, id rather buy a new plastic trim than cover up the hole with something that doesnt look right or fit.
As long as i know theres nothing of standard origin that should be there, that will do me, thanks guys.

What i was expecting was a piccy of a pretty lass wi a reply of my nob.. This aint very interesting as all!
