Hi,
I'm having a bit of trouble getting an idea of the average price of a defender.
I realise that year, condition, mileage etc will affect the price.
But looking through Evil-bay and Autotrader the prices seem to go from too cheap, to how f@@king much?
I'm looking for a '95-'01 Defender, 90 'van' rather than station wagon. TDi, and as low mileage as possible.
Can anyone give me a rough idea of the correctish price?

Thanks

Tim

Yeah, I guessed it was a dumb question.
So anything between £1500 and 5 grand?
That'll naorrow my search down a bit

Basically its what your budget is minus some( incase it needs a job doing straight away) and find the best you can. Shiny does not mean good. Solid does.

i've seen a fully rebuilt 2a on galv chassis for 400quid and a rebuilt in the last 3 year 110 for £800.. totally comes down to luck and if the seller just thinks of them as old cars and prices accordingly. and no, they weren't stolen ;)

Can I have 1 of each please:eek::eek::D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I guess it was hell of an open question!
I suppose the age on the reg plate is slightly more incidental than on normal cars? Servicing, care, upgrades and life style seem to be indicative to price.
