Just have to hope that the explosive doesn't become unstable and explode when it shouldn't:eek:
I have got rid of the side airbag one side, keep meaning to do the other one.
Doesn't that throw an SRS error? Or is it as simple as plugging a resistor in its place?

That is always a concern. I like to pretend it'll never happen because with any LR product you're lucky if it works when it is supposed to.

Hi regarding your insurance
Martin Lewis said insurers will insure your vehicle approximately 2 weeks before the renewal date, however if you leave it until the last minute they will double your premium as they deem you to be unreliable and disorganised, I only read that a couple of days ago

Good luck :(

I have left to last minute quite frequently, over the years. Even done it the night before, on some occasions. Then again former profession was looked upon as , thrill seekers and liking adrenaline rush, so get hammered with price anyway. Insurance companies can avail themselves of their middle digit for that one :p

That was changed recently, so you only pay what a civvie doing the same job would pay. Make insurance way cheaper. Which is nice.

I’ve been watching this.

Think I’ll give it a go looks like my skill set

Hmmmmm......
Well, I've had 2 windscreens changed on P38's and none of that nonsense took place. Both under insurance and only paid the mini-fee for it. Premium did not soar skywards afterwards either.
