2004 td4 auto always 31-33 regardless (fitted with a rimmer power box), now doing 36 but without prop while waiting for new VCU

Get about 38-40 mpg out of my TD4 commercial and thats driving around on local roads,,must admit the mrs is always moaning about me crawling about like a snail !!

Hi my TD4 at 109k gets 31mpg commuting in fairly heavy traffic with longer runs
I get around 35-36mpg.

My Td4 was returning about 25mpg until I started putting Millers Diesel Sport in about a month ago. It soon went up to 33mpg once that got to work, and on the last fill up last week I'd done 390 miles and it took 9.75gal of fuel to fill back up. And that equals 40mpg by my reckoning. What a difference! That Millers seems to be good stuff.

That was a mix of driving, including carrying 30 paving slabs on one journey

On normal day to day running I am getting a steady 40MPG on my 2003 Td4
