Hello.

could anyone tell me what size modulars id need to fit on my 1998 freelander? Do I need to do any modifications? What tyres? Im totally in the dark with this...

I believe the freelander is very capible on & off road? I did want a disco but there a bit big for the mrs to run through the winter. After reading/watching what the freelander was capable of I thought it would be perfect for us.
 
nice reply can't fault you bought a car you want and are happy with, thats the first true reply, normally i wanted a 90,disco,rr, but could not find one. Respect to you sir try the freelander section the boys on there are a great bunch and will give you loads of help. Again respect and merry xmas

Im hoping its gunna be capable anyway, from what ive seen and read they seem to be ok. I have the di engine in it which is the most reliable if im correct? So back on subject what modulars?

I have modulars fitted to mine, not sure on the offset though. It has a 2" Bearmach lift kit with extended Goodrigde brake lines, Monroe camber pins. And 235/70/16 BF Goodrich AT/KO tyres. :D

Thats a similars spec im after, how well does it do offroad?
