Mine is a 2001 DT. Don't know how true this is but it is said that late in the range models tend to get better than bog standard spec as they try to tempt buyers waiting for the new one. So mine has aircon, quite a bit of wood, (but not as much as HSE), Alpine stereo etc. No side boxes in the back, had to make them myself to put all the tools in (but that's another ongoing thread...) Driver's seat has motor driven up 'n doon - is that standard? No seat heating tho' (gives you piles anyway:eek:)

PS Anyone got a magazine for said Alpine CD changer please?
Both mine have only the electric up down on the drivers seat, the French Hastings LHD does not have the the fuel consumption etc in the message centre, nor does it have cruise control or heated seats & heated dipping mirrors but it does have aircon. The DHSE does have heated seats, disconnected, I don't like them, the heaters have failed in the mirrors, stupid idea to have the heaters on all the time which is no doubt why the heaters have failed.

Mine has got the mpg/trip computer and cruise control, dipping mirrors but not heated.
All seems a bit inconsistent unless all these details are specified by buyer or perhaps dealer? Or they just put in what there was plenty of in stores as the production range came to an end?

If you have dipping mirrors, they will be heated, it's just that the heater elements have failed, there is no switch to control them.

Mines a Westminster, with a AC fault that I can't solve....

Other than that it's ace, it's just been on a round trip to Inverness and never missed a beat

Whoever stuck the second badge on was pi$$ed, they are not level.
I’ve tried getting it off, it is on there WELL bonded, will make mess if I get it off :(
why is the towing eye painted dayglow? Don't tell me you take it track racing!
More a mixture of winding the guy down the road up and boredom I guess? its RR sport orange :p:D

Mine is DT with apparently optional extras plus later added bits but always went to LR for first 19yrs of its life? Have A/C, only walnut around ashtray, (indestructible) side trays in boot + liner (no cargo webbing or loops), mechanical seat/SW adjustments, have heated seats (not working but it’s there), I have dipping heated mirrors, no auto dip rear view, no SR, no cruise control, no mid range speakers in back doors (factory blanked), no leather.

Have strange things for DT like high line becm with headlight wipers, chrome boot button, later type clear lights all round (on early ‘95 ) not usual to DT and not available in 95

Unlikely to need AC in Inverness :D

Yeah, someone like me has been upgrading bits!

Special edition is vague. Is autobiography/Westminster etc etc a real model or just trim. Where is the line?
A 630 obviously is

I know there are more than 4DTs here

Autobiography are special vehicle category
They were taken of the line and then put through the SV line for the spec of purchase, I believe.

Plus you get the badge to prove it:)

Not sure about the Westminster.

I have an Autobiography transfer on the lower boot and on a bit of wood under the clock. Not SV plate but as far as I am concerned its a very rare Diesel Autobiography and definitely speshul!
