2004 TD4 SE with 95550 miles on the clock, purchased yesterday as a replacement for my 100 200Tdi hardtop that the london low emission zone did not like.
Mines just gone past 30,000 miles. Did so in the usual comfort a proud Freelander owner is accustomed to. Copes wiv everyfink I ask it to do. Goes orf road and copes wiv it quite well. Powerful v6 engine wiv smooth gear changes from the auto gearbox. Engine purrs like a kitten on the motorway at speed when I cruises past durdy ole biscuit tin tratters. Me doors int falled orf either. Pulls like a train un never misses a beat. Be good fer another 30,000 miles
202863 miles on the original L series. Mileage was at 200k ish when I undertook a big rebuild and upgrade. so should be good for another 200k. Bodywork like new, chassis like new, plastic body mouldings only real tell tale sign its been about a bit
Ah cool. Lets it down to be honest, it has nice smart black paint and grey plastic and hard back. I'l give that stuff a go when the whether gets better.
Ah that's on old trick used on old mk2/1 golf trim which suffers the same. I wasn't sure if it would work or not, cheers for that chap! il try this tommorow.
Worked for me, just take it easy and watch out round lights use a peice of card as a sheild.
It's just as well it doesn't work on the petrol filler cap,it's made out of a different plastic, you don't need heat round that
