As you can see on the picture my Td4 (I own new since jan. 9th 2001) had 80.000 km or 49.709 miles on 30/06/2011.

Currently on 106,000(ish) miles - still on the same K Series Engine but had it's first head gasket service done not long ago at about 104,000 miles.

Still remember when it reached 100,000miles - on the M4 outside Reading coming back from Surrey to Hereford. Sadly couldn't take pics of the milage!

I was lucky in the way I could take a pic of 60.000, 66.666 and now 80.000 kms while car was at home in the garage. (Note I did a little detour to arrive just at these figs. at home of course.....:D:D)

I'm on 115K, the head went a little while ago but that was simple enough to fix. Removed VCU, sunroof broken, central locking on it's way out, three amigos on, gearbox is rattling like a bag of spanners and it's hesitating so i'm guessing injector or suchlike. On the whole i've enjoyed owning it and it's been pretty cheap and easy to fix but i do find that the fact that it goes wrong all the time gets on my nerves. I think they're a perfect car for someone who can tinker with things and wants a cheap runabout. I wouldn't recommend one to friends (or enemies for that matter) because they require a lot of maintenance but i also don't hate them. For example, a new clutch for my freelander was ~£70, for my x-trail it's ~£250.

XEDI s reg 148000 ,won't put any more on for a month or so due to timing belt tensioner giving up the ghost and trying to escape through cover.

99 XEDi on 133k miles. Runs like a dream. Very quiet, doesnt smoke, sat at 80 all day long on a 400 mile round trip to southampton and back, and returned 40.4 MPG!! Only faults are driver and passenger door solonoids for remote locking have recently failed, so got to unlock using the key..

Aside from that, no lights on dash, no knocks bangs or rattles, and the perfect compromise of fuel efficiency and 4 wheel drive.

:cool::cool: :D

My 52 plate TD4 Auto has just gone over 65K. Had 36K on it 2 1/2 years ago when I got it. Still running supremely well.

At the risk of restarting an old thread.....

My 2001 TD4 ES Auto has more than 205,000 miles on it, I will post the exact number later on, once i've been out.

When you have to take a photo of achieving 67k miles, you know you've bought a **** vehicle.

99 freelander di 140k and well its falling to bits lol drivers door solenoid given up, alarm sensor faulty, btterfly valve collapsed, rear window regulator faulty, BUT no smoke lol

It's not really an achievement, and I don't see it as such. I always document vehicle mileage on my cars, always have done, and it fits this thread quite well.
