Can anyone help me with this one, brother in law has found this on the farm he works at and was wondering what it is off, I know it is not a defender so would suggest it is a series item. I have asked him to measure the length of the roof for me to see if that helps.

His question then is "Is it worth anything?", I have offered a packet of hobnobs be he mentioned chocolate ones....

Any help would be appreciated

I think it is series one the corner brackets on the sides look like it anyway.

Measure the length of the roof & rear panels.this may help
But going by the corner capping S1

Definitely Series 1, I presume 86" or 88", they are both same length. You can tell by the shape of the rear hatch and the sides are vertical and taller than later Land Rovers.

Its worth what you can get for it. The trouble with series 1 parts is that people think they are rare so prices get ridiculous.
Stick it on tinternet for £350 and see if you get any takers, I suspect if the catflap is complete with fittings its probably worth all of that and more.

The bit with the handle at the back, lifts upwards like a flap.
