I have the durite map light clamped through the hole, with a 7mm copex fed through and round to the headlining as well.

I then made up a plate to fit in the CD holder next to the existing fusebox. This would hold everything for the forward auxiliary electrics, with a rear fusebox and split charge in the boot doing the rest on the roof.

AH, now that makes sense. So I take it only 3 door Freelander users were expected to break the law by having CB Radios! Interesting. :D

CB's were made licence free and are legal in the UK. just illegal to use them driving i imagine. not being hands free and all. Explain being able to buy one in maplin with no documentation needed :p
