I have a 1991 Defender pickup and bought a new chassis wiring harnes, on both the new and the old there is one of the above female socket, can anyone tell me what this is supposed to be connected too please?

Where is it on the loom?

It's at the back between the petrol tank and left side tail lights.

I think it’s for a V8 fuel pump, but not certain.

It is for twin fuel tanks where fitted.
